By downloading, installing, or using Numerant, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Numerant is a personal finance management application that allows users to track transactions, manage budgets, monitor investments, and manage business finances. The app is provided for informational and organisational purposes only.

3. Not Financial Advice

Numerant does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Any information, analysis, or content generated by the app — including AI-generated content — is for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute professional financial advice.

We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner. You should consult a qualified financial professional before making any investment or financial decisions. We accept no liability for any financial decisions made based on content within the app.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Numerant. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

5. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring the accuracy of information you enter into the app
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Numerant offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions ("Pro") are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Payment is charged to your store account upon confirmation of purchase
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your App Store or Google Play account settings
• We do not offer refunds except as required by applicable law or at our sole discretion
• Prices may change with notice provided in advance

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app
• Use the app to store, transmit, or distribute malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the app or its infrastructure
• Use the app in a way that could damage, disable, or impair our services
• Resell or commercially exploit the app without our written permission

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Numerant — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software — are owned by or licensed to Numerant and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your financial data entered into the app remains your property. You grant us a limited licence to process and store that data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

9. Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the app, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

Numerant is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Security of data transmission

We do not warrant that the app will meet your requirements or that any errors will be corrected.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Numerant and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the app
• Any financial decisions made based on app content
• Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data
• Any other matter relating to the app

Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Numerant at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall do so.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the applicable jurisdiction.
